Food Safety

American Meat Companies maintains the highest industry standards by integrating our food safety program into every step of our operation – from receiving raw materials to delivering the finished product to our customers. We guarantee that our customers only receive the safest and highest quality products.

As a meat company regulated by USDA®, we have established specific procedures that serve as the foundation of our Hazard Analysis and Critical Point (HAACP) program. Our Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are imperative to our
HAACP program. Our HAACP committee meets regularly to assess the effectiveness of these procedures and discuss any necessary adjustments or improvements to maintain the highest industry standards.

Our food safety team is committed to ensuring that our products meet the highest safety standards. We focus on daily involvement in HACCP, inspections, internal audits, food defense and food security. We begin our quality checks by knowing the origins of our raw materials and ingredients,
ensuring transparency in our supply chains, and carefully monitoring the receiving and shipping of products to and from our loading docks.

But we don’t stop there, in fact, the minimum mandated by regulations is just the starting point. Our on-site lab consistently strives for excellence, and we provide ongoing training to our technicians and management in all aspects of microbiological and analytical testing. As a BRCGS-certified company, we conduct both rigorous internal and third-party audits to maintain consistent and effective testing methods to guarantee product integrity.

Our ultimate goal is to foster a culture of safety and responsibility throughout our organization, with a relentless focus on the safety, quality, and legality of our food products. By partnering with us, you can rest assured that your products will meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
